A street-art tribute to Mo Salah and Egypt's World Cup run, produced and posted by Nevera. We're publishing the real 24-hour performance report — organic and paid, warts and all — because we'd rather show you how we measure than just how we create.

The idea

Turning A Global Moment Into Street Art

Egypt's World Cup run gave the country a moment of shared pride. Nevera's content team built a graffiti-style tribute reel around Mo Salah, designed to travel through hashtags and the Explore page rather than paid reach alone.

The results, honestly

First 24 Hours — Organic vs. Paid

What Worked
Organic

Organic follow conversion hit 9.9% — roughly 3-10x typical benchmarks. People who found the reel naturally through hashtags and Explore didn't just watch, they followed. Total engagement rate across the full post (organic + paid) was 7.8%, well above the 3-5% industry range. Save rate was healthy at 0.93%, meaning people were bookmarking it to revisit.

What Needs Improvement
Paid Boost

The paid boost told a different story: follow rate on boosted views was 66x weaker than organic (0.15% vs. 9.9%), and only 38.8% of boosted viewers watched past 3 seconds, against a 50%+ target. Our read: broad interest-based targeting reached people who weren't the right audience, and the opening 1-2 seconds needed a stronger hook to stop cold viewers from scrolling past.

What We'd Change Next Time
Applied Learning

Open with the most explosive visual instead of a slow build, add an Arabic text hook on frame one, narrow paid targeting to a specific interest set (Mo Salah, Egyptian National Team, World Cup 2026, age 18-35) rather than broad reach, and seed the first comment to break the ice on engagement.

Why we're showing this

We Report Results The Way We'd Want Reported To Us

Most agencies only publish the campaigns that hit every number. This one had a genuinely strong organic result and a paid result that underperformed — and we think showing both is more useful to a client deciding whether to trust us than a highlight reel would be.
